Taika Waititi will direct Brad Pitt's new stoner comedy ‘Horny Bull’ for Netflix
In Horny Bull, Brad Pitt will be the only actor on screen and the movie will be based on the Japanese novel Hōnīburu (Horny Bull) by Coco Isaka. The movie will tell the story of a horny bull that escapes from a slaughterhouse in a hilly remote village and a stoner with schizophrenia (Brad Pitt) must hunt down the animal without weapons and while being completely naked. The stoner doesn't know it, but everything in his life is part of a massive reality show and his every move is captured by hidden cameras.
Director Taika Waititi, who is celebrated for his past projects such as Thor: Love and Thunder, Jojo Rabbit, What We Do in the Shadows and more, will direct and produce the stoner comedy for Netflix. It is also reported that Anthony Hopkins will play the voice of the bull during a trippy animated sequence.
Horny Bull has already encountered numerous issues after production was halted after a crew member tested positive for Chicken Herpes. A specific release date has not been confirmed.
