Jonathan Majors has been canceled by Sam’s Club
According to The BloJo Movie Network, Jonathan Majors has been canceled by Sam’s Club in light of his recent arrest for allegedly strangling and bitch slappin’ his GF in a taxi. After getting dropped by his talent agency and PR team, he is also losing his Sam’s Card.
The Sam’s Club management team said in a statement Sunday that the membership-only warehouse chain was aware of Majors’ arrest and was “deeply concerned by the allegations.”
The statement went on to say that while the actor “is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull his Sam’s membership card until the investigation into these allegations is complete. Jonathan Majors will no longer receive Sam’s perks including Scan & Go, Curbside Pickup, Plus Rewards or early-hour shopping. Furthermore, instant savings will cease immediately.
Majors was poised to have the biggest year of his career in 2023 with career-defining roles in Black Creedence lll, Wasp-Man: Quantum Leap and Muscle Dreams.
It remains to be seen how this will affect Majors' ongoing affiliation with Marvel Studios. He was primed to play the central antagonist Crabby the Accuser in a number of movies in the MCU over the next several years, including Avengers: She Force and Avengers of Justice: Arse Wars. Outside of the MCU, he was in talks to star in Jordan Peele’s highly anticipated Black Ghoulies II.
We've reached out to Majors' camp for comment, and they urged everyone to keep in mind: “If it doesn't fit, you must acquit.” Majors will appear in front of a judge on May 8th and faces multiple counts of strangulation and bitch slappin’.
In other news, McDonald’s recently announced their very own cinematic universe. Supposedly, this vastly different MCU will kick off with a Ronald McDonald origin movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Ronald McDonald and Samuel L. Jackson as Grimace. Rumor has it McDonald’s has hired Quentin Tarantino to direct.
