Exclusive: Johnny Depp & Amber Heard will face off in domestic abuse remake ENOUGH!
The much anticipated “Enough” remake has finally closed a deal with Bryan Singer (“X-Men: Apocalypse”) to write and direct the domestic abuse thriller.
The original 2002 masterpiece, directed by Michael Apted, tells the story of Slim, a terrified woman who empowers herself in order to battle her abusive husband. The film starred Jennifer Lopez as Slim and Billy Campbell, as the abusive asshole. Juliet Lewis was also in a few scenes.
The BloJo Movie Network’s review of the original classic said that “‘Enough’ expertly blends domestic abuse and thrills.”
This time around, Johnny Depp (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Amber Heard (Aquaman) will play the lead roles. However, their roles will be switched.
Our sources tell us that Johnny Depp will play Slim, an abused husband who learns to fight back. He realizes his wife isn't the wonderful woman he once thought she was. When he escapes with his daughter, she pursues them relentlessly. And threatens to poop in their bed.
Videolander Ryan Smith commented on the announcement. He said, "Important themes, thrills, action, star power, and the constant threat of hot bed shits....I have to say it. This will be the best movie ever!"
