Black Lives Matter: The Movie To Deconstruct Racism With An All-White Cast
Hollywood — African Americans have long been screwed by racial injustice. It’s time for a change! The BloJo Movie Network talked with former police officer turned director Wilfred Remus about his new movie Black Lives Matter: The Movie.
“I love black people! And making Black Lives Matter: The Movie has made me understand my whiteness. I hope it makes all colored people feel good about themselves. So the plot of the movie is basically a blend of Poetic Justice, Selma, Above The Rim, Boyz N The Hood, Song of the South and Half Baked. It’s pretty awesome! At its core, it’s a movie about black and white people but with an all-white cast. I think to appropriately deconstruct racism we need to look at the white man’s burden and understand the hustle and flow of discrimination. As a white man, I hope I can help confront and tackle American racism in entertainment. I hope I can use Black Lives Matter: The Movie as a tool to defuse racial tension in America.”
As this article is being published, Black Lives Matter: The Movie is firming up production plans. No white actors have had the balls to sign on to the movie at this time, but Wilfred Remus has talked a bit about his dream cast.
Speaking with BloJo, Remus revealed: “I would love to cast Robert Downey Jr. as the lead. I love his work in Tropic Thunder. I wonder if he would do blackface again? He hasn’t done anything worthwhile since he left the MCU, so I could probably get him cheap. I would also round out the cast with Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Tom Hanks and Jonah Hill. But only if it’s fat Jonah Hill, because nobody likes skinny Jonah Hill. Right? I also have a lot of ex-cop friends that are looking for work and I think they would make great extras. Anyway, that’s my dream cast.”
Others were less pleased by the announcement.
Spike Lee was reported saying, “What the fuck! A white ex-cop is making what? Black Lives Matter: The Movie? An all-white cast? Song of the South? You got to be fucking kidding me!”
John Boyega is currently picketing outside random New York City theaters to protest the release of the movie, even though the movie has yet to be filmed. He has been heard chanting. “In brightest day, in blackest night, that movie can go fly a kite!”
And Michael Jordan is reportedly giving $100 million to the studio if they halt production of Black Lives Matter: The Movie.
Do you think this project sounds as fucked up as we do? Or could this be the #BlackLivesMatter movie we need right now? We will keep you updated on this breaking story as events unfold. Stay Woke, Videoland!
In other news, the 2021 Oscar ceremony is likely to be delayed due to Coronavirus and the lack of new white movies.
