Surprise! Anthony Hopkins Shows Off Physical Transformation While Training For Surfer Biopic
The Silence of the Lambs star has been training around the clock, and he looks absolutely ripped in his latest workout pictures.
SIR Anthony Hopkins--who will be playing surfing legend Ludwig Nonads in an upcoming biopic--has been bulking up and recently sent some intense and provocative photos to The BloJo Movie Network.
The famous actor told The BloJo Movie Network that after he played Odin in Thor: Ragnarok, the phone stopped ringing and Hollywood wouldn’t cast him anymore. He told BloJo that he was depressed and gained about 1,000 pounds over the course of a few months. But thank the gods, he got a call from Darren Aronofsky, who wanted him to play a washed-up surfer long past his prime who wants to ride the big wave one more time before he dies of terminal brain cancer. Based on a true story.
Ever since the call, Sir Anthony has been hitting the gym and is now sporting a six-pack and is in the best shape of his life. Funny thing is, he didn’t even need the Marvel Cinematic Universe trainers to help him reach his goals! He asked his old buddy DDP, Diamond Dallas Page.
BloJo reached out to DDP concerning Sir Anthony’s daily workout routine and here’s what he said:
"I’m gonna break it down for you. It’s a lot of hard work! Jousting, handstand cycling, backward karate, trampolining, cock push-ups, high heel calf raises, pole dancing and naked anti-gravity yoga are all keys to Anthony‘s success. Alcohol? Only alcohol enemas. That’s it. Personal chef? Nope! Just onions and water. Yeah, so that’s really all you have to do to get Anthony’s physique. So, I think if you just do all those things, then you too can have a surfer’s bod."
The biopic is rumored to hit Netflix on Christmas Day 2025. The project will be helmed by The Wrestler director Darren Aronofsky and is set to cover Ludwig Nonads’ bizarre surfing career. It’s worth noting that Ludwig Nonads was on board as an executive producer, though he recently died when a coconut fell on his head while vacationing in New Guinea. RIP.
Production on the movie hasn’t started yet, but the title is rumored to be Old Man Kahuna. In the meantime, we’ve put together a list of the 5 things we hope to see in the movie.
1. Ludwig was a cross-dressing surfer. We definitely would love to see cross-dressing and surfing in the movie.
2. We will be shocked if we don’t see his pet monkey, whom he supposedly had secret relations with. The monkey’s name was Noodles.
3. We hope the movie includes Ludwig’s religious beliefs and leads into his underground cat juggling ceremonies.
4. We’d like to see Ludwig’s brain tumor told through an animated montage and voiced by Mickey Rourke.
5. Finally, we hope the movie doesn’t sugarcoat Ludwig’s racist past. He hated white people. And oddly enough people with beards.
What do our readers think? Were you surprised to see Anthony Hopkins’ body transformation? Is this the biopic we need right now? Will Mickey Rourke play the voice of Ludwig’s tumor? Will Darren Aronofsky satisfy audiences or will Old Man Kahuna be a pretentious waste of time? We will keep you updated on this breaking story as events unfold. Stay Woke, Videoland!
