Rumor! Christian Bale will return as BATMAN in Secret Wars
All Marvel fans seem to agree that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in the crapper. Since Avengers: Endgame, the franchise has been riding the struggle bus. With each passing year, Marvel is looking less and less appealing. For this reason and more, it may not come as a surprise to learn that Marvel is rumored to have a trick up their sleeve to put the franchise back on top. The current rumor is that Avengers: Secret Wars is going to bring together heroes from all across comic book movie history. Rumors seem to suggest that the final Multiverse Saga movie is going to bring together some of our favorite Marvel characters, including She-Hulk, Ralph Bohner, and Taskmaster. Other rumors indicate that we could see non-comic book characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, John Wick, Grogu, Barbie and the entire Breaking Bad cast. However, Marvel is planning on going BIG for Secret Wars and is going to give fans the one character it definitely needs to get them excited: Batman.
A recent scoop from BloJo.com seems to suggest that Marvel Studios is currently in bed with Warner Bros. and is in the process of getting veteran Christian Bale to return for the upcoming Secret Wars movie. Marvel has agreed to pay an obscene amount of money to lease the character. According to BloJo, Marvel is shining the bat signal and driving dump trucks full of money to Christian Bale’s house at this very moment. They’re even hoping to coax Michael Caine out of his well-deserved retirement to return as Alfred. Do you believe in miracles?
Another rumor suggests that Marvel is hiring Zack Snyder’s second cousin twice removed to direct Avengers: Secret Wars to woo over the toxic fans. There’s also a rumor that CG recreations of Christopher Reeve's and Nicolas Cage’s Superman will also make appearances. And if these rumors do come to fruition, we can expect Secret Wars to make billions of dollars and dethrone the #1 box office juggernaut Avatar: Waterworld.
However, take all these rumors with a grain of salt. Especially the recent rumors that Marvel Studios is doing none of the above and planning to soft reboot the MCU with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. To quote a mutual friend, “Now that’s how you move units!”
Anyway, for more lame Secret Wars rumors, check back with us in the near future.
In other news, Marvel's Blade underwent changes so extreme that Mahershala Ali almost left the movie. Scoopers say that at one point, the script morphed into a narrative where Blade was a gay white man, the movie was written by feminists, and the theme was about life lessons. Yes, that's right — Blade wasn't even going to be the main character in his own movie, and he was a gay white man. Ugh! How Marvel has fallen. Stay Woke, Videoland!
