MCU’s Blade was going to be renamed The Gay Blade of Marvel
Mahershala Ali is about to be one of the most important Black Marvel Cinematic Universe characters when Blade releases (if it ever does). He’s currently rated in the Top 20 over at WhitePeoplesFavoriteBlackActors.com.
With that said, Marvel Studios considered changing the popular Daywalker title character into a gay Whitewalker/Gaywalker to make audiences cringe. According to Christians Against the MSHEU the MCU is now in a gay Phase! One person (referred to as them) who was familiar with the scripts said early versions of the woke plot involved a female-led narrative “filled with life lessons.” In an early version of the script, Blade’s character was going to be gay, white and was positioned as the film’s fourth lead, with other female characters taking a greater piece of the spotlight instead. Blade was on a journey to find his special purpose and working through his mommy issues, while Blade variants from the multiverse (powerful progressive women) were getting all the meaty scenes. Through the story, Blade would accept his calling and be renamed The Gay Blade of Marvel. A more polished synopsis was made available on an unofficial Disney Press site, which was shared by AI chatbots. It reads:
“After a mission of self-discovery leaves legendary half-vampire, half-human (all gay) vampire hunter Blade emotionally unavailable, he checks himself into a mental health facility and is forced to hand his duties over to his flamboyant gay lover, Razor Wigglesworth. While Razor agrees to take on the creatures of the night, he decides to add his own flair, with garishly glittering costumes -- and a whip in place of Blades iconic sword. Razor teams up with empowered female Blade variants from the multiverse along with Captain Marvel to hunt down the undead who have long terrorized mankind. Together, this band of heroes will learn to work in concert until Blade is mentally stable and ready to perform once again.”
At Videoland, we support diversity. But that’s a weird flex…it’s weird…right? But it’s also not a surprise to hear. South Park just mocked the “woke” Disney culture wars. A recent South Park episode, titled “Joining the Panderverse,” details Eric Cartman’s worst nightmare—that he’ll be replaced by a woman of color. When Eric wakes from the bad dream, he declares, "They are taking all my favorite people and replacing them with diverse women complaining about the patriarchy!" It is also said in the episode that Kathleen Kennedy’s stories are about lame gay women.
After the South Park episode was released, Disney executives decided to pander harder. They originally scrapped the woke version of the script for potential box office gold but now they are full steam ahead on a new and improved Gay Blade of Marvel movie co-starring Brie Larson. There’s a rumor going around that it might even morph into a future Captain Marvel sequel.
Is this the appropriate path forward? Did this Blade news prove the South Park Panderverse actually exists? Let us know in the comments below. For more information on Marvel’s plans to stay afloat, be sure to stay tuned for updates.
In other news, Disney’s Wish is in hot water for being insensitive. The Wish script is being compared to Disney’s Song of the South, which is considered racist. Supposedly, Wish will follow a young girl named Assa who wishes on a star and gets a more direct answer than she bargained for when a racist star comes down from the sky to join her. The Wish script is said to be a copy and paste of Song of the South, but with a colorful setting (think of it as Wish of the South). A few years ago, Disney executives knew that a writers strike could happen at any time. They needed a movie that they could complete quickly before the writers strike halted production. To ensure that they had a box office hit in 2023, they dusted off an old Song of the South screenplay and tweaked it for modern audiences. That's how Wish was born.
