Katt Williams replaces Jonathan Majors as MCU's Kang the Conqueror
Katt Williams may have been cast as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But here's the kicker – the big reveal happened during an interview with Shannon Sharpe.
Katt Williams left Sharpe momentarily stunned before bursting into laughter. "Oh, by the way, motherf***er, I'm the new Kang the Conqueror in the MCU," Williams said, causing Sharpe to do a double take. Williams revealed that he secured the role of Kang the Conqueror because, as he put it, Jonathan Majors had a bit of "white woman trouble" in the time-stream.
Katt Williams humorously described how he plans to conquer the Marvel multiverse, but with a twist. "I'm not here to fight superheroes, bitch! I'm here to make 'em laugh. Kang the Conqueror's got jokes, Shannon! We're doing time travel, but with comedy specials instead of world domination. Sometimes, a good joke is mightier than any superpower. And the first thing I’m gunna do is erase some timelines starting with Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric The Entertainer, and Rickey Smiley. Holla at me!”
The MCU fanbase is now gearing up for a different kind of showdown – a laugh-off between Katt Williams' Kang and any superhero or entertainer brave enough to join the comedic chaos. Imagine Iron Man trying to outwit Kang in a roast battle or Captain America attempting stand-up patriotism. Or Kevin Hart getting roasted.
Only time will tell if Katt Williams' Kang the Conqueror becomes a legendary chapter in the MCU or if this is just an elaborate cosmic prank. One thing's for certain – Marvel has once again proven that when it comes to surprises, they're always one step ahead, even if it means recruiting a stand-up comic to conquer the multiverse with laughter.
