Disney to release unrated Rescue Rangers movie on Hulu to boost subscriptions.
For the fans who were surprised and confused by the recently released trailer for “Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers,” debuting May 20th on Disney+, it turns out there’s more weird stuff coming soon. In addition to the family-friendly version, Disney will be airing an unrated version on Hulu on June 17th, just in time for Father’s Day Weekend (and on Star on Disney+ in international markets).
This version’s rating stems primarily from a scene near the end of the film. Chip, Dale, and Gadget Hackwrench are celebrating in a nightclub when Gadget proposes they go to the champagne room for “a little fun.” “Like they say, ‘Once you go mouse, you never want to leave the house,’” Gadget promises seductively. Twitterpated, Dale eagerly follows her sashaying behind, while Chip is more reluctant. What follows is a raunchy send-up of the famous Showgirls scene, complete with anatomically correct mouse nudity, as Gadget thrashes on top of Dale while they have sex in a hot tub. Naturally, she cries out, “Gee willikers!” upon climaxing.
The BloJo network spoke to star Andy Samburgh about the scene, over a brunch of avocado toast and kale smoothies.
“I feel so blessed,” he stated. “I thought there was no chance that Disney would include the scene, but I held out hope, because it’s something that many fans have wanted to see for a long time. It just proves how committed Disney is to creative freedom that they let Dan, Doug, and Akiva realize their original vision. I promise you, it’s gonna be TOIT! And I don’t just mean Gadget’s hoo-ha.”
BloJo also reached out to Disney CEO “Ballin’” Bob Chaypeck for his thoughts, and he explained, “Look, I’m in this business for the money. If releasing an unrated cut of Rescue Rangers will boost subscriptions, who am I to say no? Furries are some of our most loyal fans, so they deserve this reward. I should know since I’m one of them. Oh, and we’re calling it ‘the Butthole cut’ because you get a good look at Gadget’s anus. Cats’ loss is our gain.”
Wow! What do our readers think? Are you a furry who’s also excited to see Gadget’s butthole? Or do you think that Disney is going to receive backlash for this attempt at fan service? Let us know in the comments.
In other news, John DiMaggio has announced that the real reason he refused to voice Bender in the upcoming Hulu reboot is because he was holding out for a big pile of cocaine and cotton candy. Stay Woke, Videoland!
