Disney acquires Mad Max franchise, plans to turn wasteland into wholesome family fun

Disney has announced its acquisition of the Mad Max franchise, leaving fans of the gritty, post-apocalyptic series wondering if they've been driven mad. The Mouse House has big plans for the beloved franchise, including multiple sequels, streaming series, and a plethora of bondage merchandise.

Imagine it: Mickey Mouse donning a leather jacket and wielding a giant hammer, cruising the desert in a tricked-out hot rod. Or, picture this: a line of Mad Max-themed plush toys, complete with cuddly War Boys and a soft, cuddly Immortan Joe. It's enough to make you want to flee to the Thunderdome.

But wait, there's more! Disney has also announced plans for a Mad Max-themed area in their theme parks, complete with a "Delicious Delirium" food stand serving up tasty treats like "Furiosa's Fiery Fritters" and "Max's Melancholy Meatloaf." And, of course, no visit would be complete without a spin on the "War Rig Roller Coaster" or a stroll through the "Wasteland Petting Zoo."

And because no Disney acquisition would be complete without a streaming series, get ready for "Mad Max: The Next Generation," a heartwarming tale of a group of plucky young survivors as they navigate the dangers of the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Each episode will feature a valuable lesson about the importance of teamwork, empathy, and the power of a good ol' fashioned car chase.

But don't worry, die-hard Mad Max fans – Disney promises to stay true to the spirit of the original franchise. So, buckle up and get ready for the wildest ride on earth – Disney Apocalypse style!
