Bradley Cooper to star in new Mel Brooks movie Jewface
Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born) will star in Jewface. The movie will tell the story of a German scientist who, after one of his experiments goes wrong, slowly turns into a Jew during WW2. This, of course, gives the scientist a new perspective on the world around him.
The sure-to-be controversial movie was directed by Bradley Cooper, produced by Steven Spielberg, and written by Mel Brooks. The script is said to play fast and loose with historical facts and Jewish stereotypes. Bradley Cooper will also wear a prosthetic nose created by the good folks over at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. No detail was left out to turn Bradley Cooper into a believable Jew. With that said, Jewface has already encountered numerous issues after production was halted after a crew member tested positive for Foreign Accent Syndrome. This extremely rare disease causes an actor to speak in different accents. The most common treatment is to stop production until the person begins to speak normally again. A specific Netflix release date has not been confirmed.
Anyway, what do our readers think? Will Bradley Cooper give an award-winning Jewish performance even though he is not Jewish? Will his prosthetic nose win an Oscar? Will you be watching Jewface on Netflixster? We will be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
In other news, Christian actor Kirk Cameron says his new movie “Hung Jury” is about a judge who must give up masturbation and give his life to God in order to save his city from divine punishment.
